Call Center Representative

Reports to: Office Manager
Work Hours: 7am-5pm Monday-Friday
Work Location: Onsite/in-person
Required Qualifications/Skills and Abilities:
● High school diploma or GED.
● Previous customer service or call center experience is preferred but not required.
● Basic to advanced phone skills.
● Excellent verbal and written communication (business writing) skills preferred.
● Demonstrated organizational skills with a strong aptitude for detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and ability to stay organized.
● Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
● Previous computerized order/data entry skills.
● Must be willing to pass a drug test.

Position Summary:

As a Call Center Representative, you will be crucial to Miller Portables’s excellent customer experience reputation. As a key member of our customer service team, your primary focus will be to provide outstanding customer phone support by answering questions and receiving and processing orders promptly and courteously.
Responsibilities:
● Handle customer inquiries as the first point of contact, answering phones and providing prompt and professional responses regarding our products and services.
● Process orders and schedule services.
● Manage email and email orders, ensuring all details are correctly recorded.
● Handle billing and payment matters.
● Customer issue resolution handling customer complaints efficiently and professionally.
● Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide product recommendations, ensuring the successful closure of sales deals.
● Work with the office manager and other team members to ensure smooth communication and efficient operations, addressing any gaps in service or scheduling.
● Maintain a detailed record of customer interactions, orders (including email orders), and service updates, using company software, and contribute regular reporting on Service Core.
Required Qualifications/Skills and Abilities:

Physical Requirements:
● Ability to sit for long periods 40-50 hr work week.

Performance Standards:
● 60-day probationary/evaluation.
● Performance assessment with manager to ensure employee’s work performance and ethics arealigned with the company’s Mission and Core Values.
