Responsibilities & Requirements
Reports to: Branch Manager
Work Hours: 6 am-4 pm Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.
Work Location: On the road/in-person
- Follow safe driving protocols and all applicable traffic laws at all times.
- Must wear the required PPE for the specific job and task.
- Deliver, transport, and service portable restrooms on daily routes.
- Safely load and unload units on and off the truck
- Replenish supplies and disinfect all delivered and serviced units
- Meet all cleaning service and delivery expectations at every stop on your route.
- Service Freshwater Systems
- Complete each job in a timely manner according to company standards
- Check for any damage, and inspect and troubleshoot the units.
- Handle general maintenance issues in the field
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and keep it restocked with supplies at all times
- Report any issues with units or vehicle maintenance to the Branch Manager promptly.
- Assist with installation of temporary fencing.
- Assist with miscellaneous shop work.
- Safely pull and back a portable restroom hauler trailer
- Service units and portable units.
- Manage and lead temporary fence installation.
- Restroom & Shower trailer delivery, setup, and service

As a Service & Delivery Technician at Miller Portables, you are a vital part of our field operations team. This role combines the responsibilities of delivery, pickup, and servicing restrooms. You are responsible to ensure that portable restrooms are delivered, maintained, and serviced to the highest standards our customers expect.
You will operate fleet vehicles, execute daily delivery and service routes, replenish and disinfect units, report maintenance issues, and support your branch team both on the road and around the shop. This role requires attention to detail, adaptability, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to Miller Portables’ core values: Safety, Integrity, Efficiency, Team Orientation, and Trust.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must have a valid Real ID Ohio Drivers License
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must be willing to pass a drug test.
- Must be able to physically load/unload portable restrooms on and off the truck using the manual pulling hooks. Units will need to be dragged into place as far as 50+ feet at times.
- Must be able to pull and back a trailer safely while following all traffic laws
- Must be able to handle cold weather conditions and tolerate variable and sometimes extreme physical conditions during equipment delivery, servicing, or inspections.
- Ability to move equipment weighing up to 300 lbs using provided equipment
- Ability to work long hours on the road — the majority of your workday will be spent on your route.
- 60-day probationary evaluation.
- Performance assessment with manager to ensure employee’s work performance and ethics are aligned with the company’s Mission and Core Values.
