Tier 1 Delivery Driver

Reports to: Branch Manager
Work Hours: 6 am-4 pm Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.
Work Location: On the road/in-person
Responsibilities for Tier 1 Delivery Driver:
● Follow safe driving protocols.
● Must wear the required PPE for the specific job and task.
● Deliver and transport portable restrooms.
● Safely unload the unit.
● Replenish supplies and disinfect delivered units.
● Check for any damage, and inspect and troubleshoot the units.
● Handle general maintenance issues.
● Maintain the vehicle’s cleanliness and keep it restocked with supplies.
● Assist with miscellaneous shop work.
● Installation of temporary fencing.
Position Summary:
As a Delivery Driver at Miller Portables, you are a vital part of our team, ensuring the safe and timely transportation of portable restrooms, trailers, and supplies. Your role is critical to upholding our reputation for excellence in service delivery. You will be committed to safety and efficiency operating our fleet trucks and customer satisfaction, navigating daily routes, and contributing to our team-oriented work environment. In addition to safely and efficiently operating our fleet trucks and following all traffic laws, you will be expected
to assist on the road and around the shop. This role requires attention to detail, adaptability, and dedication to Miller Portables’ core values: Safety, Integrity, Efficiency, Team Orientation, and Trust.
Required Qualifications/Skills and Abilities:
● High school diploma or GED.
● Must have a valid Ohio Drivers License.
● Must have a clean driving record.
● Must be willing to pass a drug test.

Physical Requirements:
● Must be able to physically load/unload portable restrooms on and off the truck.
● Pulling and backing a trailer safely while following all traffic laws.
● Must be able to handle cold weather conditions and tolerate variable and sometimes extreme physical conditions during company equipment delivery or inspections.
● Working long hours on the road, most of the driver’s time will be spent on the road.

Performance Standards:
● 60-day probationary evaluation.
● Performance assessment with manager to ensure employee’s work performance and ethics are aligned with the company’s Mission and Core Values.
